Character Creation Workflow with ZBrush, Cinema 4D & Redshift 4/6

Workflow with ZBrush Cinema 4D & Redshift

Join renowned instructor Joe Herman and Maxon Trainer and expert Elly Wade for a new six-part webinar series that will show you how to sculpt, texture, add hair and rig 3D characters using ZBrush, Cinema 4D and Redshift.

Design a rigged character ready for animation in just 6 sessions! These 2-hour webinars take you through the multiple disciplines of creating a character and include sample project files and assets. Attendees can ask live questions throughout the sessions and are invited to follow along with the techniques.

These webinars are also recorded and available to re-watch in your own time. Watch the recordings here: Missed a session: Watch the recordings here: Hands-on with Maxon

Attendees will also have access to an extended trial of Maxon one throughout the six-week course – just send the request to Elly at: training@maxon.net, with #HOWMaxon in the subject line.

Episode 4: Texturing the Model, using Redshift, and adding Hair to the model.
Here, in this episode, we’ll show you how to create textures for the face and the pullover.
Today we are adding Hair to your character. You’ll start by painting a density map for the Hair and then create a hairdo to sit on top of its head.
You’ll also use Redshift’s Principled Hair node to create the shader for the Hair.
